DeC. “Democracia en Construcción” (2013) – TV series with associated “Crowdsourcing” platform.
DeC. “Democracy in Construction” was a cycle carried out in 2013 by Señal Santa Fe on the occasion of 30 years of democracy in Argentina. Made up of four fictional chapters with documentary intervention, each lasting half an hour, the cycle sought to activate questions, share reflections and propose a dialogue on the ways in which the last thirty years of uninterrupted democracy were built in Argentina. In this way, participation, equality, freedom, rights and identity were some of the axes that crossed the television cycle.
The crowdsourcing platform made it possible to upload first-person testimonies recorded with the same webcam installed on the computer, or through other devices such as cell phones, small-format cameras, or cameras. These videos were located spatiotemporally through a timeline and an interactive map, shaping the history of these 30 years of recovery of democracy in Argentina.
Blankspot developed the crowdsourcing platform. I worked as a transmedia producer in the Blankspot team.
